These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CoinHold website and wallet services provided by Institutional Technologies AG ("we", "us"). Please read them carefully; by creating an account or using the services you agree to them.
By registering, signing in or otherwise using the services you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
To meet legal obligations we may require you to complete identity verification (KYC) and to provide further information at any time. Sending or receiving funds may be limited until verification is approved. We may decline, delay, reverse or cancel any request, freeze or close an account, and report to authorities where we believe it is necessary to comply with law, sanctions or our risk policies.
CoinHold provides an online ledger and custody interface for digital assets and supported fiat currencies. Please note:
Fees (for example the swap fee, the crypto send fee and the bank-wire transfer fee) are shown before you confirm an action and are deducted when it is executed. Third-party network or bank charges may also apply. We may change our fees on notice.
Prices, charts, exchange rates, news and other market information are provided for general information only, may be delayed or inaccurate, and are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing on the site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset.
Digital assets are volatile and you can lose some or all of their value. Transactions on public networks are generally irreversible. Regulation of digital assets is evolving and may affect their value, your ability to use them and our ability to offer the services. You use the services at your own risk and should seek independent advice where appropriate.
You must not: use the services for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud or any other unlawful purpose; provide false or another person's identity documents; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the services, other accounts or our systems; probe, scan or test vulnerabilities, or interfere with or overload the services; use bots, scrapers or automated means except through interfaces we expressly provide; or resell or share your access with others.
The site, software, design, trademarks and content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the services for their intended purpose. Everything else is reserved.
You may stop using the services at any time and, once your balances are withdrawn, ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access immediately, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect unlawful activity, or if required by law or a competent authority. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
The services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the accuracy or completeness of any information displayed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or digital-asset value, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount of fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or the rights of others, or the misuse of your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Institutional Technologies AG is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the services. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours to a successor.
